Tiger's Dream

Decide to draw something so here the end result! Enjoy!

It called Tiger's Dream...by Jordon Stoddrad, I personally added the moon in the back drop to enhance the image of a fantasy. Project duration was about 3 hrs of pencil drafting and 2 hrs of color pencil/shading.

Well I finally printed all the patterns out (Parts 2D, 3, 4, 5) and it comes to a wooping 211 pages!!!



That a lot of paper! (to crease, cut, fold, and maliciously put together!)



2 3/4" Thick! It going to take awhile!

Here fruits of my labor...dozens of baby/juvenile cherry shrimps. Sweet! (that $2.50/shrimp once they are adults)

Pond Snail Infestation!

There are more pond snails than cherry shrimp! Not Good! Going to have to get Assassin Snails.

Aqua tank 10gal June 2010

It been a long time since the last picture, so here 10 gal tank now with about a dozen adult cherry shrimps and many baby shrimps.

Cherry Shrimp Eggs!!!

Here the latest pix on the cherry shrimp egg. They are covered all over the tank. Water changes a little bit tricky since there are small baby shrimps all over the tank.

Finally got some Cherry Shrimp Eggs, hopefully they hatch!



Plant above is Tiger Lotus, Red (Nymphaea zenkeri), it has a bright maroon color that makes it glow! Very nice!

Optimus Prime Head DONE!

After several months of cutting, gluing, frustration, then pulling out my hair! Yes, I have completed Part 1 of this epic papercraft model. When completed this model will stand 28 inches tall! Consisting of well over 100 sheets of paper.

FYI:

Aquarium Update

Here some pix from my small aquarium. Just add some cherry shrimps.

New Aquarium Up and Running

Here the second aquarium after fixing the leak in the 10 gal. tank. Just got it done on Sunday so it still cloudy. Need to get a good filtration system and shrimps!

Above is an update picture of the 50 gal. with java moss on a tree branch. So far no plant growth but lots of algae growth! Wondering wtf is going on...

Algae Overgrowth!

After installing two 65W Florescent Light Fixture, the tank is looks infested with algae. In the process of buying snail eating algae and magfloat cleaner.

Aquarium Planting

Just got plants yesterday (Feb 24th) and took 6 hrs decorating the aquarium. Very time-consuming and frustrating!

After finishing, I find out I have too many plants, gotta sell some...

Here picture with CO2 injector installed. Still having problems getting it to work. I don't see any bubbles leaving the exit valve of the reactor chamber.

Aquarium Construction Phase!

Until recently (about 2 months ago), I decide I was feed up with my crappy aquarium and take matters into my own hands.

Thus, I started Googling stuff and search the net for various aquarium designs that suited my taste (and my budget, especially). So far I bought a lot of stuff but haven't really got any results.


Here a picture of my 50 gallon-tank (acrylic) with some Anarchist plants and a 8" 'Red Devil' Cichild fish. It still in construction but hopefully the end result with be something like this.

Papercraft Zealots!

Here a project I've completed about 4 years ago and the only one I managed to finish. Goes to show you my attention span for hobbies is short (if any). I'll post some papercraft in progress in the coming months.

I didn't want to resort to this! No. But it was inevitable considering all the spare time I seem to let myself have. Whatever happens, hopefully it is more productive than play'n games.
